Country music icons Willie Nelson and Loretta Lynn have both received their first round of COVID-19 vaccinations!
Willie Nelson, 87, got his vaccination through Family Hospital Systems in Texas.
“Getting your COVID vaccine is Willie cool!
Thank
you Willie Nelson for helping Family Hospital Systems slow the spread
of COVID-19!,” the organization shared through Facebook along with a
series of pictures.
Loretta Lynn, 88, shared her
experience in Tennessee alongside her daughter via Instagram, “Well, I
bundled up and Peggy Jean and I rolled out of Hurricane Mills so I could
get this vaccine. I’m sure glad to get it and am sure ready to put
Covid in the rear view mirror! And I enjoyed the mom daughter time, too!

“He
was bragging yesterday after he got it that he didn’t even have a sore
arm,” Willie’s wife, Annie D’Angelo Nelson, told Rolling Stone. “Now,
today, of course his arm is sore. We’re both just a little tired. I
don’t know if we wouldn’t be tired anyway, but we’re gonna do what they
said and let the vaccine do its job.”
